We stayed in this hotel for 3 days in a quadruple room (2 adults and 2 children). one bed was broken as per the attached photos and although I immediately reported the problem to the reception, no one came to fix it and for the entire stay I could not sleep in the bed (we had to sleep in 3 in a double bed). I was told that the hotel manager was not present on the weekend and although after my stay I wrote to the reception several times to ask for a partial refund, no one was able to help me. Terrible hotel, so basic and run down. I had a single room that was so small and could hardly get into the bathroom! No aircon and it was sweltering. There was a fan but it was even too hot for that. I left my phone charger behind and so called a couple of hours after I left. They told me the cleaner hadn’t found anything and said the next guests were in the room but had gone out. A little unbelievable when I called before check-in time. Very dishonest and annoying. Will not visit again. I do normally write reviews but I felt let down by this hotel.

Avoid this hotel - bed bugs and terrible customer service

During the night my wife noticed a bug in her bed and when she lifted up the pillow there were around 20 to 30 bugs of varying sizes from under 1mm to about 6 mm in length underneath. I went down to reception, spoke to the receptionist and showed him two of the bugs. He advised me that there were no vacant rooms in the hotel for us to move into. As it was then around 1:30 am, it was too late to look for another hotel. We had no choice but to stay in the room, where we discovered bugs in both of the other beds. We could not sleep in the beds so stayed awake all night often finding further bugs, which was a very unpleasant and distressing experience for us. We had to leave before the manager arrived, so I emailed them later in the day, but received no reply, not even an apology. I contacted Booking.com who agreed a full refund with the hotel, which, after 7 weeks, I am about to receive. I understand that Booking.com have raised an official complaint with this hotel.

Very pleasant stay for one evening in Paris. Well situated for arriving by Gare du Nord and leaving by Gare de l’est. Reception on arrival was quick and easy, as was the welcome back after a night out in Paris. Couldn’t do enough for us and very helpful. Single room was small, but well resourced and clean and tidy. Very quiet nights sleep. Lift was welcome as staying near the top. Breakfast was a basic continental affair, but filled a gap. Wasn’t sure what to expect but would wholeheartedly recommend. Short walk from the bustling canal area and very close to the Metro station as well.

Great location near Gare du Nord. Nice selection at breakfast. Lovely and clean. Excellent value for money. Lots of choice of restaurants in the area. No English speaking channels on the telly means switch it off and relax.
